The HCCV holds conservation work parties on alternate Saturday mornings and occasional weekdays throughout the autumn and winter. These mornings are very enjoyable and require no previous experience of conservation work as basic training can be given on the day.
We meet at 9:30am at the notice board in Jubilee Avenue (WhatThreeWords - ///tile.scuba.leaves) and finish up at around mid-day. Refreshments (tea/coffee & biscuits) provided.
We do accept a limited number of youngsters each year who wish to complete their Duke of Edinburgh volunteering with us. Please contact us beforehand to check if we have a place available. Due to child safeguarding regulations a parent or guardian may be required to accompany the youngster at each work party.
